  9. With Windows, the user has access to a nearly unlimited number of fonts. For
  10. every task You may choose another font. Look only at the hundreds of fonts
  11. that are available as shareware.

  13. Font-ABC will help you to keep an overview of your fonts. Not all fonts are of
  14. use for every application: not all fonts are free scalable, which means you
  15. cannot use them in every wished-for size. Some fonts have only capitals (for
  16. headlines) or initials.

  18. With Font-ABC, you are able to view and print every printable font using your
  19. own sample text, in any size and style that you wish. You may print a font
  20. catalog of all installed fonts and uninstall fonts that are not used very often.
  21. Not all fonts are really needed all the time, and every installed font uses more
  22. memory and increases Windows' start-up time.

  87. If you want to uninstall Font-ABC for any reason, make sure that no other 
  88. programs use these files before deleting them!

  92. Font-ABC expects to find the Windows-Standard-Font Arial installed on your 
  93. system.  If not, you may go to FONTABC.INI (Windows-Directory), move to the
  94. section DEFAULTS (in brackets) and change "Arial=" to another font type, e.g.
  95. "Arial=Helvetica".

  97. If possible, choose the option "use True Types" in the control panel.

  105. For a minimal registration fee, you become a legal user of Font-ABC.

  107. Print the order form "order.wri", fill in all blanks, and send it by mail or 
  108. e-mail to the address below. Send the registration fee to my bank and you will 
  109. receive your personal registration code which allows further use of Font-ABC as 
  110. soon as possible.

  112. Shareware screens will disappear and you will receive version update information 
  113. if wanted.

  135. Font-ABC was tested in all functions before coming out as shareware. But there 
  136. may still be problems with individual configurations. There are so many possible 
  137. hardware and software combinations that incompatibilities may occur.

  139. If you ever have a problem using Font-ABC, don't hesitate to sent me mail or 
  140. E-mail. I'll do my best to help you. If you have any suggestions for
  141. improvements, send me an e-mail and I'll see if I can build them into 
  142. a future version.

  145. solutions to problems) and  describe the problem as well as possible: when it
